IT’S IN THERE…SOMEWHERE

Wanting to get back into writing again.  It has been so long but I can feel the words wanting to come out.  They are not easily removed from where they have been hiding though.  Please bear with me.

A little something written while trying to quiet my mind.

A commanding presence felt across a room
A murmur from the crowd
A face…a voice
The sound of footsteps approaching
Head raises to see…
A sparkle in kind eyes
Hot breath like a desert wind on a cheek
Warm moist lips on the curve of a neck
A shiver
Yes, right there…
A sweet smile
A grin returned
A hand extended
And met
And so the dance begins.
