HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT HER TOO
I think this one came out much better. I hope you enjoy! Leave me a comment if you like, here or on my Facebook page! She hears the key rattle in the front door. She smiles but does not stop what she is doing. Biting her lower lip, she concentrates on squeezing just the right amount of her homemade buttercream frosting out of the piping bag, The cake is to be tonight’s special dessert. She was hoping to be done before he got home but had spent a little extra time in the bath and then doing her hair and makeup. She hadn’t seen him in nearly a week and…

IT’S IN THERE…SOMEWHERE
Originally posted June 10, 2020 Wanting to get back into writing again. It has been so long but I can feel the words wanting to come out. They are not easily removed from where they have been hiding though. Please bear with me. A little something written while trying to quiet my mind. A commanding presence felt across a roomA murmur from the crowdA face…a voiceThe sound of footsteps approachingHead raises to see…A sparkle in kind eyesHot breath like a desert wind on a cheekWarm moist lips on the curve of a neckA shiverYes, right there…A sweet smileA grin returnedA hand extendedAnd metAnd so the dance begins.

THOUGHTS OF AN INSOMNIAC
Originally posted December 15, 2012 Cool air caresses my body as I lie here in the dark. Waiting. For what? I do not know. Perhaps the warmth of skin pressed to mine. Hot breath in my ear. Moist lips on my neck. No words, just sounds. The melody of the music. The whoosh of the fan. The soft moans. Hand on my hip. Fingers tugging and rubbing. A hardness making itself known. The saltiness of skin. The milkiness of a pearl lifted on the tip of the tongue. The tanginess of sweet nectar flowing. Lips grazing across sensitive skin. Nails claw down my back. Teeth sharp on inner thigh. The smell of…

GAMES PEOPLE PLAY
Originally posted October 18, 2012 I have to confess this wasn’t written totally by me. We did a kind of pass around thing among a group of friends. I wrote the beginning paragraph and the ending one. When it was done, I read it at one of my shows. Thank you to some of the residents of Inworldz. I love you guys! GAMES PEOPLE PLAY Her eyelids flutter, lashes sweeping her cheek. He watches her in the diffused light that the dawn brings. As she stirs, his eyes sweep the curves of her body. They stop at the marks on her and he smiles to himself remembering what happened last…

NOW
First posted August 11, 2011 She hungers for his touch. Every waking moment is spent with him on her mind. He invades her dreams. Even in the dreams not about him, he is there in the periphery, watching. Her body tingles and aches at the thought of him, but is kept at the precipice, waiting. At the sound of his voice, it awakens, wet. He calls and she answers. He commands and she goes to him. When they meet, she is still tentative. His desire for her is almost palpable but she is afraid of overstepping. He pulls her to him and she snuggles into his lap. His breath is warm on her face as he speaks to…

ONE WORD
Originally posted June 25, 2011 I thought I was happy. I thought I had what I wanted. You came into my life and showed me the emptiness inside me. The realization of it took my breath away. I thought it had already been banished to far corners. Just your strong presence brought it back to the surface. Part of me wanted to flee while another part of me wanted to sit and bask in your shadow. Your touch, both the sting and the caress, threatened to overtake me. It gave me a taste of something never afforded me before. The void was a gaping hole I felt trying to swallow…

The Dance
Previously posted on April 20, 2011 She senses him towering over her before she sees him. Her eyes slowly move upward, taking in the perfect cut of his tuxedo. She stops briefly to watch the rise and fall of his chest beneath the pin tucks in his shirt. To her, there has never been anything sexier than a man in a tux. Resuming their assessment, her eyes take in the neat ponytail hanging down his back, and then they slowly move to his face. His eyes crinkle slightly when he smiles and she hears him ask, “May I have this dance?” He stands quietly watching her take…
